The PPEPP-EU project organised a two-day workshop on the project’s progress analysis and future strategy development with its 19 partner organisations (POs) at the PKSF Bhaban.
As many as 100 participants, divided into two batches, participated in the workshop held on February 19 and 20, 2024. Participant PO officials included the Project Coordinators and Technical Officers, who are integral to the project’s implementation of livelihood, nutrition, community mobilisation, and other components’ field activities.
PKSF’s Senior Deputy Managing Director, Golam Touhid, inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest in the presence of PPEPP-EU Project Director Dr Sharif Ahmed Chowdhury and Tanvir Sultana, Deputy General Manager, PKSF and Deputy Project Director, PPEPP-EU.
Welcoming the participants, Golam Touhid said that PPEPP-EU will organise similar workshops until the project’s end to help evaluate the performance and progress of field activities and make critical decisions that work for better project implementation.
At the workshop, project officials of implementing partners presented a comprehensive review of their respective organisations’ field activities, achievements against set milestones, and projections of future actions.
Their presentations also encompassed the project’s inputs and technical services provided, income-generating activities developed, skills training and health and nutrition services offered, social platforms organised, success stories and failure cases.
During the workshop, Project Coordinators, Technical Officers, and PKSF’s Project Implementation Unit (PIU) officials identified future challenges and discussed strategies for overcoming them and ensuring the project’s timely and effective implementation.
