National Nutrition Week 2025

The PPEPP-EU project observed National Nutrition Week across its working areas from 28 May to 03 June through a range of awareness initiatives.

Under the theme “Nutritious Food for All, from Children to the Elderly,” the project organized nutrition fairs, discussion sessions, rallies, counseling on nutritious food intake, and demonstrations of healthy cooking methods.

In addition, nutritional and primary healthcare services were provided through satellite clinics.

During the discussions, participants were informed about the components of a balanced diet, the health benefits of vegetables and fruits, and the importance of essential vitamins and minerals. Special emphasis was placed on the nutritional needs of mothers, children, and the elderly.

Relevant government officials from the Upazila Health and Family Planning Office, as well as teachers from local educational institutions, attended the events as guests.
