The PPEPP Advisory Committee held its first meeting on July 30, 2019. PKSF’s Deputy Managing Director Mr Golam Touhid presided over the meeting. PKSF’s Deputy Managing Director Mr A.Q.M. Golam Mawla gave the initial remark. PKSF’s General Manager Dr Sharif Ahmed Chowdhury delivered a presentation on major activities undertook during the ongoing Inception Phase of the project. Among others Dr Sharifa Begum, former Senior Research Fellow, Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS); Dr Khaleda Islam, Professor, Institute of Nutrition and Food Science, University of Dhaka; Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan, Professor, Department of Development Studies, University of Dhaka were present as external members of the committee. The discussion focused on targeting, monitoring and evaluation strategies under PPEPP project.
